Treats?! Yes Please!

Halloween is exhausting! I don't remember it being so much work.  We had a blast this year though!  MaKayla was a witch for dance, a purple princess for preschool and after receiving her dress up clothes for her birthday decided that she needed to be both Belle and Cinderella on Halloween day.
We met up with Sara, Jake, and Lana bug to go see Bell and Mariah in their costume parade at school in the am, and then headed back to Sara's to get ready.  Me and the kids ran home for lunch and then Sara came and picked us up for the trick or treating festivities.  We stopped at Macey's and trick or treated upstairs.  James kept trying to give his candy away, but learned quickly that he wanted to hang onto it.
After Macey's we met up with Grandma Lola and hit up main street.  Little Red Riding Hood (Sara), Mini Mouse (Lana), Monkey (Jake), Spider (James),  Belle (Kayla), and Heavenly Devil (Stef).

These two are trouble, trouble, trouble together; but give them a sucker and they're content.

After main street we all headed home except for Kayla and Grandma.  They decided they needed more candy while the rest of us refueled.  They headed up to the mall and played some more.
Later that night we headed over to my Mama's to see her, Jenni and Andy.  My Mom got the kids these huge suckers.

And now you get to see Cinderella and Grandmama.  My Mom dressed up as Marge Simpson for school; wish we could have seen that.

Micah, Jenni and I took the kids around the block.  It was fun to go around the old neighborhood.  One of my Mom's neighbors had a giant rope spider web so we had to throw our spider up in it for a few shots with Jenni's camera.  He loved it.
Then we went back to Grandma's for more candy.  Andy and James the spider.

Before we headed home Micah decided to check out MaKayla's loot.  She gave him a rude awakening when he tried to sneak a piece.  The girls got spunk, "DAD NO!  That is MY candy!"  James doesn't mind sharing though. :)
