A Camping We Will Go

Well, we can check camping off of our list of things to do this summer.  We decided to try and wrestle a spot over Labor Day weekend.  We ended up finding us a spot at the Lewis M Turner camping ground (next to Tony Grove).  We set up camp and then headed back down and over to Tony Grove to hike around the lake.  Kayla loved it.  Here are the kids eating before we found our camp site.
Kayla and the pretty lake.
Kayla kept saying she wanted to go swimming until she felt how cold the water was.
It was so pretty around the lake.  The flowers were beautiful.
Back at camp after our hike; roasting some dogs for the kids.
Kayla soaking up the sun.
MaKayla was in heaven and loved sleeping in the tent (our canvas mansion).  She slept like a log and never woke up.  James on the other hand kept wiggling out of his nice little cocoon I made him.  The kids stayed warm while Micah and I had freezing toes all night long.  Our camp was invaded by cows.  Whenever James would hear them he would moo back.  It was pretty funny.  We had a great time, especially MaKayla.  The whole way home she kept saying, "We could maybe do that again, huh Mom?
